The World’s First Ever Hydrogen Fuel Cell Superyacht
Edmiston is involved with a series of new-build projects, the most exciting example being Project 821 (118.8m, Feadship, Rank: 35). She represents a milestone in superyacht design as she is the world’s first hydrogen fuel cell superyacht, reducing harmful emissions by 90 percent. Project 821 is the most environmentally advanced yacht to ever be created; the innovative fuel cells have pure water as their only exhaust, providing a combustion-free way to generate electricity.
Consistently Aligned with Industry-Firsts
H3 (105m, Oceanco, Rank: 63) is another new-build project of Edmiston’s that showcases its pivotal place within industry-firsts. Originally launched in 2000, this vessel underwent a refit so extensive that it has been considered a total ‘re-birth’, with 10 metres added to her overall length alongside a total exterior and interior transformation. Currently listed for sale with Edmiston, the brokerage is aligned with one of the most monumental designs of the industry, playing a significant part in the latest and greatest innovations.
Unmatched Pedigree & Record-Breaking Achievements
Across sales, charter and management, Edmiston boasts a fleet made up of some of the best pedigree on the market. Five of the world’s Top 100 yachts are listed for charter and sale with the brokerage: Project 821 (118.8m, Feadship, Rank: 35), AHPO (115.1m, Lürssen, Rank: 41), H3 (105m, Oceanco, Rank: 63), SOPHIA (96.5m, Feadship, Rank: 74) and LADY S (93m, Feadship, Rank: 84). 2024 has been a record-breaking sales year for Edmiston. The brokerage has currently sold 32 vessels over 30 metres, with more in the pipeline in the final months of the year. A pivotal point came in April, when the brokerage announced it had sold 18 yachts in 18 weeks.

Alongside its involvement with the latest sustainable industry trends, representatives are proud to discuss The Edmiston Foundation: the brokerage’s initiative to give back to both the maritime community and environment. The brand works closely with the United Kingdom Sailing Academy (UKSA), inspiring and supporting children to broaden their horizons through water-based adventures, as well as The Conservation Collective, working to protect and restore the natural world.
